Terms of service
These terms summarise how Quokka Booth works. The rental agreement you sign when booking is the controlling document for your event.
Bookings and retainers
A booking is confirmed when the retainer is received and the rental agreement is signed. The retainer is 30% of the contract price and is non-refundable; it reserves your date and the specific booth you chose.
Payments
The balance is due by the start of your event. We accept cards and Zelle. Where a card payment is processed, the processor's terms also apply.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellations more than 30 days before the event owe nothing beyond the retainer; 30 days or less owe 50% of the contract price; 7 days or less owe the full price. One free reschedule is available within 12 months, subject to availability.
Your venue
You are responsible for providing roughly 10 ft × 10 ft of level space, one standard power outlet within 25 ft, reasonable load-in access, and — for outdoor placement — shade, level ground and a weather contingency.
Images
We retain copyright in the images produced. You and your guests receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. We may use images for our portfolio and social media unless you opt out in writing before the event, and we will always remove an individual guest's image on request.
Guest data
Contact details a guest enters at the booth are used only to send that guest their own photos and are deleted within 90 days unless they opt in to further contact.
Liability
Our total liability under any booking is limited to the amount you have actually paid for it. The full terms, including the assumption of risk and indemnity provisions, are set out in the rental agreement you sign when booking.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with exclusive jurisdiction in Contra Costa County.
